Il a enseigné l’entrepreneuriat et des matières connexes dans plusieurs pays d’Europe, d’Amérique latine et du Moyen-Orient. À NEOMA, il enseigne l’entrepreneuriat en mettant l’accent sur la durabilité, le développement social et les politiques publiques. Les recherches de Teemu portent sur l’esprit d’entreprise, en particulier en ce qui concerne la santé et le bien-être, les trajectoires professionnelles, l’esprit d’entreprise hybride, l’évolution démographique et les politiques publiques. Ses travaux ont été publiés dans des revues de premier plan, notamment Entrepreneurship Theory and Practice, Journal of Business Venturing et Journal of Management.
